When a cyclist from Hungary reached out via our website, his vision was focused on finding the ultimate Italian all-road bike that balanced high performance with genuine value. While the standard factory options didn't quite align with his specific goals, we stepped in to curate a bespoke kit that transformed the Basso Astra into something truly unique. By selecting the versatile Fulcrum Wind 42 wheelset and the premium Levita integrated cockpit—usually reserved for top-tier models—we elevated the build's ergonomics and responsiveness. Our workshop then assembled the bike in-house, ensuring that the Shimano Ultegra Di2 groupset was tuned to perfection. It is a build that proves sophistication and practicality can coexist, resulting in a machine that feels just as at home on long climbs as it does on fast, rolling valley roads.
